Douglas Kent Graff, 80, of Blackman Lake, Wolcottville, Indiana, died Sunday, August 20, 2023, at his residence.

He was born April 24, 1943, in Goshen, Indiana, to George and Ida (Rassi) Graff.

On December 6, 1975, in New Paris he married Pauline E. Bechtel. She preceded him in death on July 13, 2020.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Graff retired as a quality control inspector at Duplex Products in Goshen.

He had lived at Blackman Lake since 2018, coming from Goshen.

Doug was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Goshen.

Surviving are five sisters-in-law, Gladys Graff of Syracuse, Susan Graff of Petoskey, Michigan, Melva Sanders of Goshen, Pat Bechtel of Valparaiso, and Eva Miller of Defiance, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Sam and Octavia Perkins of Blackman Lake and Jr. and Kelly Sizemore of Blackman Lake.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, John Graff and William Graff.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 1 p.m. at VFW Post 2749, 127 Veterans Way, Kendallville.

Burial will be in Violett Cemetery in Goshen.
