Obituary

Doris Susan Benhower, 92, of Garrett, Indiana, died Monday, November 22, 2021, at Miller's Merry Manor in Garrett.

She was born January 8, 1929, in Auburn to Lundy and Blanche Marie (Miser) Kyle.

Mrs. Benhower had worked at Booth Poultry Farm in Orland.

Doris enjoyed antiques and re-making antique dolls. She also enjoyed doing crafts, painting, and drawing.

Surviving are six sons, Dennis (Jill) Benhower of Oregon, Theodore Benhower, Todd (Brenda) Benhower of Angola, Timothy Benhower of Orland, Patrick (Sheila) Benhower of Angola, and Terry Benhower of Angola; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Joseph Benhower; a daughter, Bethany Benhower; a son, David Benhower; and two sisters, Janet Brinkerhoff and Mary Meyers.

There will be no visitation or services.

Young Family Funeral Home, Hudson-Ashley Chapel, 612 North Main Street, Hudson is assisting the family with arrangements.
