Obituary

Dora Mullins, 77, LaGrange and formerly of Brimfield and Kendallville died Monday, August 29, 2011, at 12:23 p.m. in Parkview LaGrange Hospital, LaGrange.

Mrs. Mullins had lived in Noble County since 1962, coming from Kentucky. She had resided at Miller's Merry Manor in LaGrange for the past year.

She graduated from Hindman High School in Hindman, Kentucky.

She retired in October of 1997 from Tenneco Automotive in Ligonier.

She was born June 18, 1934, in Ritchie, Kentucky, to Pearl and Edna (Owens) Fuller. On August 5, 1952, in Hindman, Kentucky, she married Jasper Mullins, Sr. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2006.

Surviving are a son, Jasper (Tracie) Mullins, Jr. of Kendallville; a daughter, Carol (Loren) Biggs of LaGrange; six grandchildren, Crystal Ann Mynhier, Diane Nadine Mullins, Marinda Lynn Mullins, Sasha Lou Mullins, Gabby Mullins, and Todd Allen Buckland; seven great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; six sisters, Christine Maxwell of Kendallville, Edith Coney of LaGrange, Betty Jo Brown of Rome City, Janette Lucas of Rome City, Linda Caywood of Wolcottville, and Vedra Ann Martin of Avilla; and two brothers, Raymond Fuller of Wolcottville and Otis Fuller of Burr Oak, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest Fuller, Leander Fuller, Willie Fuller, and Sammy Joe Fuller.

Calling is Thursday, September 1, 2011, from 12 - 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville. Graveside services will follow the calling at Orange Cemetery, Rome City. Speaker Michael Delts of the Jehovah's Witnesses will officiate.

Preferred memorials are to Miller's Merry Manor in LaGrange.
