Obituary

Donna Inez Short, 52, of Kendallville died Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 4:10 a.m. at her residence. She had been ailing for a year.

She was born September 11, 1966, in LaGrange to Bernard and Mary (Conley) Kemplin.

She was a homemaker.

Donna enjoyed playing Bingo and watching westerns. She dearly loved her grandchildren as they were her entire world.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Short of Kendallville; a daughter, Amber Morgan of Kendallville; three sons, William Short of Kendallville, Charles Short, Jr. of Kendallville, and Christopher Short of Angola; four grandchildren, Jackie Thomas, Blake Morgan, Ricky Morgan, Jr., and Paislee Smith; her mother, Mary Gibson of Kendallville; and three sisters, Lisa Amburgey of Albion, Shella Polly of Wawaka, and Robin Mullet of North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Short; her father, Bernard Kemplin; and her grandmother, Inez Conley.

There will be no visitation or services.
