Obituary

Donna Marie Conrad, 77, of Kendallville died Friday, February 12, 2016, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

She was a lifetime area resident.

Mrs. Conrad was the manager of the Drake Terrace Apartments in Kendallville from 1998 to 2009.

Donna enjoyed reading, bird watching, baking, and flowers.

She was born April 21, 1938, in Kendallville to Jack and Thelma (Smith) Trowbridge.

On February 4, 1956, in Kendallville she married Norman L. Conrad. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2009.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Glinda "Sue" and Floyd "Sam" Lautzenhiser of Avilla; four sons and daughters-in-law, Dave and Vicky Conrad of Wolcottville, Richard "Dick" and Sara Conrad of Kendallville, Tim and Cindy Conrad of Wawaka, and Mike Conrad of Kendallville; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen Gillispie of Garrett, Judy and Mike Pretchold of Chicago, Jean and Don Fredrickson of Kendallville, Kate and Allen Conrad of Elkhart, and Janet and Lyle Vian of Corunna; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Nyda Trowbridge of Kendallville, Steven and Pam Trowbridge of Kendallville, and Daniel and Dena Trowbridge of Kendallville.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Engle and a granddaughter, Amber Conrad Conley.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor David Beard of the Path of Life Community Church in Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Sweet Cemetery, Kendallville.

Calling is Tuesday, February 16, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the Kendallville Park Department for youth activities.
