Obituary

Donald Eugene Eck, 68, of Corunna died Monday, November 10, 2008, in Wesley Healthcare, Auburn, Indiana.

Mr. Eck had worked at Newnam Foundry in Kendallville, and retired from Dana Epic in Kendallville. He was a member of the Kendallville Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, guns, friends, family, and his grandchildren.

He was born October 15, 1940, in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, to William Herbert and Lucille Esther (Brumbaugh) Eck.

Surviving are three daughters and a son-in-law, Kimberly and David Wilfong of Anaheim, California, Teresa Eck of LaOtto, and Donna Eck of Anaheim, California; a son, David Hoag, address unknown; a stepson, Michael Treesh of Hudson; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley and Rick Boarts, Pennsylvania, and Bunny and Jim McGinnis, Pennsylvania; a sister-in-law, Jan Hancock of Ashley; one brother, Jim and Rose Brumbaugh of Pennsylvania; a brother-in-law, Walter Treesh of Auburn; and his caregiver, Linda Delong of Corunna.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Michelle Cayot.

Graveside services will be Saturday, November 15, 2008, at 9 a.m. at Corunna Cemetery, Corunna, Indiana, with Pastor James Archambeault of New Life Tabernacle in Kendallville officiating.

There will be no calling hours.
