Obituary

Dolores L. Licorish, 89, of Corunna died Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at 9:05 p.m. in Presence Sacred Heart Home, Avilla.

She had lived in this area since 2003, coming from Florida.

She retired from the banking industry in Northville, Michigan, where she worked as a teller.

Mrs. Licorish was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Kendallville.

She was born January 30, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan, to Henry and Martha Caroline (Tessmer) Mix.

Dolores was married to Robert W. Hunter, and he preceded her in death. She then married Wallace N. "Wally" Licorish, and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, Rev. Dr. Kent R. (Janet) Hunter of Corunna; a stepson, Thomas Licorish of California; two stepdaughters, Linda Licorish of Michigan; and Yvonne DeParis of Michigan; two grandchildren, Laura (Jason) Atkinson of Corunna and Jon (Esther) Hunter of Corunna; one step grandchild, Nicholas Weber; and two great-grandchildren, Kailyn Atkinson and Julianna Atkinson.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Kaylor.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 12 noon in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Rev. Dr. Robert Shriner officiating. Burial will be in Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia, Michigan.

Calling will be Saturday, December 19, 2015, from 10 a.m. to noon in the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to Church Doctor Ministries or St. John Lutheran Church.
