Diane Gamble, 64, of Wolcottville died Sunday, November 22, 2015, at 5:13 p.m.
She was a lifetime area resident.
She drove bus for the Lakeland School Corporation for several years and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Gamble was a member of the Harbor of Love Baptist Church in Kendallville.
Diane enjoyed singing and traveling with her family. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed playing Dr. Mario.
She was born January 3, 1951, in Kendallville to Clovis and Flora (Terry) Hoover.
On September 19, 1970, in Kendallville she married Harry R. "Pinky" Gamble. He survives in Wolcottville.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jeanette (Jerry) Combs of Wolcottville and Patricia Patrick of Wolcottville; three sons, Rickie (Lori) Hoover of LaGrange, Harry (Laura) Gamble, Jr. of Avilla, and Grant (Margie) Gamble of Wolcottville; 12 grandchildren, Jacob Hoover, Jessica Hoover, Christan Hoover, Devon Patrick, Sean Gamble, Seth Gamble, Loss Gamble, Tessa Gamble, Anthony Combs, Jeremiah Combs, Ellen Gamble, and Taylor Gamble; and a sister, Geneva Hicks of Auburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Cody Hoover and Rickie Hoover, Jr.; a sister, Jean Garza; and two brothers, Granvil Hoover and Grant Hoover.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at 1 p.m. in Harbor of Love Baptist Church, 2353 South Lima Road, Kendallville with the Rev. Charles Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Angel Garcia, Luther Godsey, Wade Terry, Eugene Mosley, Bill Mosley, Jacob Hoover, Sean Gamble, and Anthony Combs.
Calling is Tuesday, November 24, 2015, after 5 p.m. at the church where there will be an evening service at 7 p.m. Calling will also be on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.at the church.
Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
