Dennis Lee Brand, 81, of Wolcottville, Indiana, died Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Kendallville Manor Nursing Home in Kendallville.

He was born June 28, 1942, in Garrett to Charles Wesley "Chuck" and Mary Jane (Crothers) Brand.

He graduated from Avilla High School in 1960, where he played basketball.

On May 26, 1990, in Mongo he married Susan Jo Brand. She preceded him in death on April 3, 2023.

Mr. Brand had worked for International Harvester for 12 years, and had also worked at Shult Homes, and Coachmen, but was best known around the area for working with his family at Brand's Car Wash in Kendallville.

Denny was a Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed playing Texas Hold'em at the Eagles in Kendallville.

Surviving are two daughters, Tiffney Brand and Tari Thiery both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three stepsons, Andrew Joseph (Jennifer) Perkins of Waterloo, Jeremy Dean (Kimberly) Perkins of Story Lake, and Daniel Justin Perkins of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas, Daniel, Jade, Kassandra, Ashley, and Hannah; eight great-grandchildren, Zavien, Iliana, Ford, Alexis, Hailey, Carson, Madisyn, and Maggie Sue; and two brothers, Mike (Debbie) Brand of Kendallville and Joe Brand of Rome City.

Celebration of life services will be on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Kendallville Eagles, 1990 West North Street, Kendallville, Indiana.
