Obituary

Deloris LaForce, 76, of Rome City, Indiana, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.

She was born June 3, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, to Doyle and Mildred (Williams) Walker.

Mrs. LaForce retired from Tenneco Automotive in Ligonier.

Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Ramey of Angola and Jackie DeBoard of Rome City; a son, Gregory Curtis DeBoard of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Williams of Dayton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Willene Gibbons and a brother, Sherman Walker.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 12, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North Wolcottville.

Burial will follow at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
