Deldee Joan Therrien, known affectionately as Dee, passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 90 in Rector, Arkansas. Born on October 25, 1934, Dee spent her early years in Indianapolis, where she attended the Indiana School for the Deaf, fostering a lifelong passion for learning and creativity.

Dee was renowned for her exquisite oil paintings, a skill that brought her numerous awards and recognition throughout her life. Her artistic talents were matched by her love for traveling, exploring diverse cultures and landscapes which often inspired her artwork.

Dee's warm and gentle nature touched everyone she met. She was a cherished figure in her community and among her loved ones. Dee leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, survived by her "husband" of 28 years, Howard Clements of Rector, AR; her sister, Dixie Thompson Flynn of Elkhart, IN; her sons, Jerry Rowe of Indianapolis, IN, and Ted Therrien of Brant, MI; and her daughter, Morgan Therrien Critzer. She was a proud grandmother of Angela and Raychel Rupnow; Sam Therrien, Emily, Gabriel, Elizabeth and Lilly Therrien, who will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Enid and Robert Thompson; her brother, John Thompson; and her daughter, Dorothy "Dottie" Therrien Lanning. Dee was also preceded by her first husband, Jack Rowe, and her second husband, Russell Therrien.

Visitation will be Friday, October 18, at 1:00 pm with service to follow at 2:00 pm, at Young Family Funeral Home, 100 Cemetery St., Wolcottville, IN 46795. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Wolcottville, IN, after the service.

Dee's life was a testament to the beauty and resilience of the human spirit, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
