David Manns, 62, of Kendallville, Indiana, died Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He was born January 13, 1962, in Knox, Indiana, to Delmer and Lorean Manns.

Mr. Manns had worked at Dexter Axle in Albion.

David loved spending time with family making memories. He enjoyed listening to music and was always willing to help others at any time and at any place.

Surviving are a daughter Chelsa (Richard) Sunday of Kendallville; a son, David J. (Morgan) Manns of Winona Lake; five grandchildren, Madison Manns, Zoe Kimmell, Isabelle Kimmell, Piper Hicks, and Jaxon Manns; a sister, Carolyn Salyer of Kendallville; and two brothers, Delbert Manns of Avilla and Donald Manns of Fort Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his father, Delmer Manns; and his mother, Lorean Hamdin.

Cremation was chosen with a memorial service on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 12 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
