Obituary

David Earl Back, 55, of Ashley died Saturday, July 6, 2019, at his residence.

He was born June 30, 1964, in Albion, Michigan, to Hargis and Dixie (Coburn) Back.

Mr. Back had worked as a machinist in Battle Creek, Michigan, until he became disabled

Surviving are three daughters, Tessa (Jason) O'Dell of Ashley, Brandy (Kenneth) McLaughlin of Angola, and Vanessa Back of Denver, Colorado; a son, David Back of Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren; his mother, Dixie Back of Eckford, Michigan; a sister, Penny Back of Eckford, Michigan; and two brothers, Carl Back of Eckford, Michigan, and Berlin Back of Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his father

A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019, at 1 p.m. at the Ashley Church of God, 101 North Gonser Avenue, Ashley with the Reverend Robert Neace officiating.

Preferred memorials are to the family for funeral expenses.
