Obituary

Darrell Wayne Napier, 41, of Cromwell died Monday, March 13, 2017, in his residence following a lengthy illness.

He was born August 14, 1975, in Hazard, Kentucky, to Daniel and Juanita (Mullins) Napier.

He moved to Cromwell four years ago, coming from Winchester, Kentucky.

Mr. Napier had been employed in the electronics department of Wal-Mart in Winchester, Kentucky.

Surviving are his father and stepmother, Daniel and Kathleen Napier of Wolcottville; a sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Michael Owsley of Rome City; a brother and girlfriend, Willis Napier and Michelle Hess of Auburn; one niece, Brianna Napier; and two nephews, Brandon Napier and Dakota Patrick.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Napier on November 17, 2008.

A memorial service will be Friday, March 17, 2017, at 2 p.m. in Salem United Baptist Church, 8227 N SR 9, Kendallville with Rev. Billy Tuttle officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky.

Calling will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the church on Friday.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
