Obituary

Darold E. Kistler, 83, of Kendallville died Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Majestic Care in New Haven.

He was born December 28, 1934, in Avilla to Emery and Lillie (Mathews) Kistler.

On May 11, 1962, in Albion he married Betty Tomson. She preceded him in death on October 26, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters and there are no immediate survivors.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Mike Albaugh of Destiny Family of Faith in Kendallville. Burial will be in Sweet Cemetery.

Honor guard services will be provided by the Veterans Honor Guard and active duty members of the U.S. Army.

Calling is Friday, October 12, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
