Obituary

Daniel S. Perry, 60, of Kendallville and formerly of Albion died Thursday, December 12, 2019, at his residence.

He was born March 5, 1959, in Columbia City to Harold and Loretta (Watson) Perry. They preceded him in death.

On August 30, 1997, he married the love of his life, Sarah R. Barile who he had known since he was 16.

Mr. Perry was a motorcycle safety instructor with ABATE of Indiana and had previously been a truck driver.

Dan was an avid reader, enjoying science fiction. He was a mechanic who enjoyed fixing things and tearing them apart and was a collector of oddball things. His family will remember him as a happy person, humming all the time and being strong and kind.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah Perry of Kendallville; two daughters, Amber Barile-Perry of Kendallville and Gabrielle "Gabby" Perry of Kendallville; and three brothers, Harry (Renee Runkle) Perry of Albion, David Perry of Albion, and Dennis Perry of Albion.

A memorial visitation will be Saturday, December 21, 2019, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.
