Moore, 55, of LaGrange died Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 9:20 a.m. in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was a lifetime area resident. He was a 1978 graduate of Central Noble High School.

Dan was a foreman for Fox Contractors.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping, but most importantly spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was born April 11, 1959, in Kendallville, to Keith L. and Sharon L. (Weimer) Moore.

In June 2002, in LaGrange he married Judy M. Stout. She survives in LaGrange.

Also surviving are a daughter, Shawna (Kirby) Miller of Kendallville; a son, Cory Stout of Kokomo; four grandchildren, Sierra Stout, Tristin Haney, Haley Haney, and Brooks Miller; his father, Keith L. Moore of Greensburg; his step-father, Kenneth C. "Butch" Ihrie of Wolcottville; two sisters, Jean Marie Palm of Fort Wayne, and Allison Lawson of Terre Haute; and four brothers, Robert (Beckey) Moore of Wawaka, Michael Moore of Greensburg, Pat (Judy) Moore of Wolcottville, and Matt Moore of Albion.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon L. Ihrie on August 24, 2014.
