Danenne R. (Hossinger) Boyce, 68 of Raleigh, North Carolina, and formerly of Kendallville died Thursday, November 15, 2012, in the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. She had been in failing health for some time.

She graduated from Kendallville High School in 1962.

She retired in 2006, from Werner in Kendallville. She then moved to North Carolina to live with her daughter and grandchildren.

Danenne enjoyed spending time with her cats, gardening, watching birds, squirrels and deer in the yard, and spending time with her grandchildren, watching their favorite comedian and movies.

She was born July 16, 1944, in Kendallville to Lester Hossinger and Jenevie D. "Johnnie" Muesing.

Surviving are a daughter, Debbie (Boyce) Hart of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Michael Hart and Michelle Hart of Raleigh; a brother, Richard Hossinger and sister-in-law, Gisela Warstler of Ashley; and a nephew, Les Hossinger of Fort Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Arthur Hossinger; her grandmother, Olive Marie Hossinger; her father, Lester Hossinger; and her mother, Jenevie D. "Johnnie" Wayer.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 26, 2012, at 6 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville, with Rev. Curtis May officiating. Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Calling is Monday, November 26, 2012, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
