Dakota James White, 22, of Hudson died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in his residence.
He was born March 13, 1995, in Angola, to Robert and Darlene (Stultz) White.
Dakota loved to bow hunt, fish and was an awesome mechanic, but above all, spending time with his son was what he truly enjoyed the most.
Surviving are his parents, Robert and Darlene White of Hudson; a son, Matthew Hunter White of Bronson, Michigan; two sisters, Malinda (Josh) Daglow of Hudson and Hillary Brandeberry of Angola; three brothers, David Brandeberry of Flint, Scott White of Ashley and Triston White of Ashley; paternal grandmother, Gail White of Lake of the Woods, Hudson; maternal grandfather, James Stultz of Angola; two aunts, April Vanwye of Long Lake, Hudson, and Deb Frazie of Brown County; an uncle, Ted Stultz of Angola; seven nieces, Kedra Case, Trianna Brandeberry, Chevelle Brandeberry, Dixie Brandeberry, Addie White, Jayla Jones, and Kinsley Jones; and five nephews, Aidin Mearse, Damian Brandeberry, Huck Brandeberry, Mason Brandeberry, and Hunter Brandeberry.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sandra K. Stultz; paternal step-grandfather, Frank Bartlett; and two aunts, Lynn White and Carol Henderson.
A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 3 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Hudson-Ashley Chapel, (formerly Johnson Funeral Home), 612 North Main Street, Hudson.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Sunday.
Preferred memorials are to the family for his son, Matthew.
