Crestene Mosley, 63, of Avilla, Indiana died Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Stillwater Hospice Home in Fort Wayne surrounded by her family.

She was born May 17, 1960, in Kendallville to Denver and Martha (Swander) Gibson.

She was a homemaker and babysitter.

Crestene enjoyed crafting, playing cards and dice and watching all the wild animals in her yard. She was a Colts football fan. As her family brought her the greatest joy, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews.

Surviving are her son, Greg (Mattie Bonaparte) Mosley of Avilla; a daughter, Vicky Anway of Garrett; a granddaughter, Lakesha Fell of Kendallville; three grandsons, Kaiden Shaw of Avilla, Kale Anway of Garrett, and Jaxson Anway of Garrett; four sisters, Marlene Arnold, Geraldine (Milton) Robinson, Laura (Ramoes) Arnold, and Cathleen (Dusty) Petre all of Kendallville; two brothers, Marvin Gibson and Steve Gibson both of Kendallville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tabitha Lee "Tabbi" Fell on April 1, 2023; and a sister, Cindy Gibson.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 16, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Five Corner Baptist Church, 2995 E 600 S, Wolcottville with Pastor Larry Anglemyer, Sr. of Kelly Street Baptist Church in Rome City officiating.

Burial will be in Orange Cemetery near Rome City.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church.
