Obituary

Connie Lou Honey, 66, of Kendallville died Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 7:27 a.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne following a lengthy illness.

She was a lifetime area resident and a homemaker.

She was born November 6, 1946, in Kendallville to Ralph and Berdina (Miller) Smart. On March 23, 1991, in Albion, she married Jerry W. Honey. He survives in Kendallville.

Also surviving are a daughter, Dawn McDonald of Kendallville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Randy Gibson of Kendallville and Mark and Linda Gibson of Howe; seven grandchildren, Ian Gibson, Daemon Gibson, Drew Rohr, Kaegan McDonald, Krystal McDonald, KC Gibson, and Dade McDonald; a sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Don Weimer of Kendallville; and a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Cindy Smart of Syracuse.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Vernon "Harvey" and Betty Smart.

There will be no visitation or services.
