IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Colleen
Molina
April 26, 1956 – September 10, 2024
Colleen Slone Molina, 68, passed away on September 10, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born in Hindman, Kentucky on April 26, 1956, to Lenvel and Maxine Slone. She married Florentino Molina in 1971. They spent 45 years together raising 8 children.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Colleen dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren.
A true homemaker at heart, Colleen's love language was simple but powerful—feeding others. No guest ever left her home without a full stomach and an ever-fuller heart. One of her greatest joys was passing down family traditions, like teaching her grandchildren to make biscuits and gravy, just as her grandmother taught her.
Colleen had a deep love for country music, especially songs that told a story. Her children and grandchildren will always hold dearly the memories of her singing to comfort them.
Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved to feel the warmth of their arms wrapped around her neck and relished every minute she spent with them. They filled her days with joy and laughter.
Colleen is survived by her children:
Melissa Paradise (Rick),
Christina Kell, Aaron Molina (Lori), Martha Parker (Jeff), Jennifer Molina, Michael Molina
Grandchildren: Landon, Sophia and Logan Paradise
River and Summer Molina
Jacob, Alexis and Avery Parker
Bella and Scarlett Molina
Lilly, Olivia and Ava Molina
Siblings: Marsha, Karen, Wilford, Adam and Michael
And a host of nieces, nephews and cousin.
She was preceded in death by her son Alan Ray Molina and her daughter Sandra Kay Molina.
Her beautiful blue eyes and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and timeless memories.
Funeral services will be held at Harbor of Love Baptist Church, 2353 South Lima Road, Kendallville on Monday, September 16, 2024, with viewing from 11-1 and services immediately following.
