Obituary

Clovis Duane "Punk" Hoover, 48, of Kendallville died Saturday, February 6, 2016, in his residence.

He was a lifetime area resident.

Punk had worked at Reliable Production Machining and Welding in Kendallville. He attended Harbor of Love Baptist Church in Kendallville.

He was born September 29, 1967, in Kendallville to Granvil and Zeda (Sells) Hoover.

In 1991, he married Ruth Ann Bolen. She survives in Kendallville.

Also surviving are three sons, Kyle Hoover of Kendallville, Brandon (Brenna Kay) Hoover of West Virginia, and Skylar Hoover of Kendallville; two grandchildren, Courtney Faith Hoover and Trinity Rose Hoover; his mother, Zeda Hoover of Kendallville; and a brother, Marvin (Juliet) Hoover of Kendallville.

He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Clovis and Flora Hoover; and maternal grandparents, Curtis and Martha Sells.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 11, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. in Harbor of Love Baptist Church, 2353 South Lima Road, Kendallville with Pastor Charles Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett.

Calling is Wednesday, February 10, 2016, after 4 p.m. at the church. An evening service will be held at 7 p.m.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
