Obituary

Clifford Collins, 81, of LaGrange, Indiana died Saturday, June 13, 2026, at his residence.

He was born December 2, 1944, in Wayland, Kentucky to Worden and Grace (Allen) Collins.

He married Louann Partick in 1964. She survives in LaGrange.

Clifford spent his early career with Coachman Industries and later owned and operated C & C Excavating. Together with his wife, they owned and operated Famous Fish of Stroh in Stroh, where they became a familiar part of the community.

When his health allowed, he loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting. He also found joy in caring for and working with his horses and mules.

Also surviving are two daughters, Patricia Collins of Salem Center and Ann Marie Collins of Stroh; a son, Timothy Wayne (Angie) Collins of LaGrange; five grandchildren, Dr. Danielle Collins of Fort Myers, Florida, Kristina Dye of Angola, Brendan (Samantha) McGrath of Angola, Paige (Landon) Jackson of Missouri, and Jagger Campbell of Minnesota; four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lilly, Katie, and Ashton; a sister, Laura Ann Lane of Kentucky; and three brothers, Billy Collins of Arizona, Johnny (Becky) Collins of Kentucky, and Jimmy (Dixie) Collins of Sturgis, Michigan; a sister-in-law, Lisa Slone of Stroh; two brothers-in-law, Dave Patrick of Stroh and Mike Watts of Stroh.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Helen Sue Collins and Edith Cordial; two brothers, Jerry Lee Collins and Jackie David Collins; and his mother-in-law, Olive Burton.

Visitation will be Monday, June 15, 2026, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9, North, Wolcottville.

Funeral services will also be on Monday, at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Davis of Helmer Independent Baptist Church officiating.
