Christopher Michael Knox, 47, of Garrett, Indiana died Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne after a very sudden illness.

He was born April 2, 1976, in Kendallville to Ernest Knox Jr. and Jeanne (Lewis) Knox.

He worked at the Kroger Fuel Station in Kendallville for 20 years.

Chris enjoyed collecting model trains and Superman memorabilia. He was also the family jokester, always making others laugh.

Surviving are three daughters, Bailey Knox of Garrett, Breann Knox of Garrett, and Brooklynn Knox of the United Kingdom; two sons, Bazil Knox of Garrett and Benjamin Knox; his mother and stepfather, Jeanne and Mark Hart of Kendallville; two sisters, Angie (Barry) Taylor of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Sarah (Brandon) Garrison of St. Paul, Indiana; and a brother, Brandon (Melissa) Knox of Auburn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Knox, Jr.

Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2023, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.

Funeral services will follow the visitation at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
