Obituary

Christopher Scott "Scottie" King, 43, of Kendallville, Indiana, and formerly of Fort Wayne died Monday, August 16, 2021, at his residence.

He was born June 8, 1978, in Winchester, Kentucky to Oscar and Eva (Thompson) King. His father preceded him in death.

Scottie enjoyed fishing and cooking.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Eva and Charles Hayner of Rome City; a brother, Ronald King of Fort Wayne; two nephews, Sterling King and Isaac King; and a niece, Cecelia Lofus.

There will be no visitation or services at this time.

A celebration of life service will be planned for a later date.

Preferred memorials may be directed to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
