Cheryl Christine Clark, 61, of Rome City, Indiana died Monday, May 20, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born April 26, 1963, in Columbia City to Donald LeRoy and Judith Alice (Phend) Parkison.

She was a homemaker and had formerly worked at Superior Sample in Ligonier.

Cheryl was an artist and enjoyed doing crafts, painting real dolls, drawing, home decorating and gardening. She was a caring person who dearly loved spending time with her family, friends, her dogs and her cats.

Surviving are a son, Dylan Clark of Cromwell; her mother, Judith A. Parkison of Warsaw; three sisters, Laurel (Richard) Padilla of Schoolcraft, Michigan, Dana (Lynn) Brown of Wolf Lake, and Tuesday (Raymond) Halsey of Syracuse; a brother, Rory Parkison of Albion; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her life partner, Tom Sutton; a grandson, Kyler James; her father, Donald L. Parkison; and a sister, Dawn Phelps.

Celebration of life services will be Friday, May 31, 2024, at 5 p.m. at Bethel Christian Baptist Church, 2838 E. US Highway 6, Kendallville, with Pastor Shawn Shepherd officiating.

Visitation will also be on Friday, May 31, 2024, beginning at 3 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
