Obituary

Chadwick Wayne Howard, 28, of Hillsdale, Michigan, died Friday, October 2, 2009, in HIllsdale.

Mr. Howard worked in construction. He enjoyed sports and lifting weights.

He was born July 3, 1981, in LaGrange, Indiana, to Steven Howard and Carla (Hicks) Shepherd. His father survives in Garrett, Kentucky, and his mother survives in Shipshewana, Indiana.

Also surviving are a sister, Kim Clawson of Jackson, Michigan; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Travis Shepherd of Hillsdale, Michigan, and Mark & Joyce Hicks of Ligonier, Indiana; his grandparents, William Hicks, Jr. and Mable Hicks of Ligonier, Indiana; and a special friend, Lola Fields of Litchfield, Michigan

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeremy J. Howard in December, 2006.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Solid Rock Church at the intersection of State Road 5 and 1100 W north of Ligonier, with Pastor Jesse Jacobs and Pastor Purda Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City, Indiana.

Calling is Monday, October 5, 2009, after 3 p.m. and all day Tuesday at the church.

Preferred memorials are to the family.
