Obituary

Cecil L. Patrick, 59, of Rome City died Saturday, April 7, 2007, at 8:20 a.m. at his residence with his family at his side. He was born June 17, 1947, in Knott County, Kentucky, to Woodrow and Beulah (Wooten) Patrick. He has lived at Rome City for 36 years, coming from Knott County, Kentucky. On March 12, 1969, in Hindman, Kentucky, he maried Lutisha Ritchie. He had worked at Mahoney Foundry in Kendallville. He enjoyed the outdoors, cooking and cleaning. Surviving are his wife Lutisha Patrick of Rome City; one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Mitchell Arguello of Kendallville; one son, Michael Patrick of Kendallville; one stepson, Ronald W. Ritchie of Topeka; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Lolavey Combs of Kentucky, and Catherine Carter of Wolcottville; five brothers, Flannery Patrick of Rome City; A.C. Patrick, A.B. Patrick, Homer Patrick, and Paul Patrick all of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bufford Patrick and Lewis Patrick; and one sister, Effie Mae Patrick. Services will be Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Community Baptist Church, Wolcottville with Pastor Leburn Combs officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 9, 2007 after 2 p.m. at the church. Casketbearers will be Mike Patrick, Carl Patrick, Mitchel Arguello, Tony Patrick, H.D. Carter, Homer Patrick, Chester Patrick, and A.B. Patrick. Memorials are to the family. Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
