Obituary

Cathy Sue Mynhier, 63, of Wolcottville died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at her home.

She was born July 22, 1955, in Wolf Lake to Gene and Gloria (Oesch) Mynhier.

A lifetime area resident, she was the owner and operator of Custom Stained Glass Art for many years.

She was a member of the Wolcottville United Methodist Church in Wolcottville.

Cathy loved her animals, especially her goats and chickens. She enjoyed walking in the woods. But most of all, she loved spending time with her granddaughter.

Surviving are a daughter, Nikki (Jeremy Walters) Norris of Kendallville; a son, Cory (Amy) Norris of Wolcottville; a granddaughter, Ava Norris; and her mother, Gloria Mynhier of Wolcottville.

She was preceded in death by her father on January 28, 2011.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Pastor Regan Ford of the Wolcottville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville.

Calling is Wednesday, August 15, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
