Obituary

Cassandra Sue Hippenhammer, 58, of Kendallville died Friday, December 17, 2010, in the emergency room at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.

Mrs. Hippenahmmer graduated in 1970 from North Side High School in Fort Wayne. She was a homemaker.

She is the current Vice President of the Humane Society of Noble County, and is a member of the Rome City United Methodist Church.

She was born January 30, 1952, in Huntington to Woodrow and Mildred (Butts) Scheonlein. On June 26, 1971, she married John Hippenhammer. He survives in Kendallville.

Also surviving are many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Howard Smith.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Rome City United Methodist Church with Pastor Barbara Cross officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.

Preferred memorials are to the family or the Humane Society of Noble County.

Arrangements are by Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.
