Calvin Kirk "Kelly" Thomas, 60, of Lakeville and formerly of Rome City died Sunday, January 20, 2013, in his residence.

He has lived in Lakeville for eight years, coming from Rome City.

He was born November 23, 1952, in Fort Wayne, to Robert and Bonita (Driscoll) Thomas. His father preceded him in death. His mother, Bonita Austin resides in Nebraska.

Also surviving are his companion, Sherri Crone of Lakeville; three daughters, Katy (Dustin Siders) Wilken of Fort Wayne, Tesia (Donnie) Himes of Wolcottville, and Kelli (Andrew Watson) Thomas of Kendallville; a son, Josh (Devan) Thomas of Auburn; three step daughters, Amanda (Ryan) Kauffman of Wolcottville, Jill (Jim) Martino of Rome City, and Nicole (Billy Bob) Sorrell of Wolcottville; three stepsons, Dennis Hawkes, II of Lakeville, Donovan Hawkes of Lakeville, and Todd (Peggy) Patrick of Wolcottville; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; four sisters, Wendy Pihajlic of Colorado, Vicki Rich of Nebraska, Brenda Thomas of Arizona, and Candy Delegrange of Huntington; and six brothers, Shel Thomas of Nevada, Stan Thomas of Indianapolis, Robert Thomas of Washington, Raymond Thomas of Arizona, Brian Thomas of Arizona, and Richard Thomas of Indiana.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Grace Christian Church, 126 East Mitchell Street, Kendallville with Pastor Chris Mosley and Pastor Scott Mosley officiating.

Calling is Thursday, January 24, 2013, after 4 p.m. at the church.

Preferred memorials are to the family.
