Buster Patrick, 65, of Kendallville, Indiana died Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Kendallville Manor Nursing Home in Kendallville.

He was born April 2, 1958, in Ary, Kentucky to Elbert and Mary (Prater) Patrick.

Buster had worked for Brooks Construction and Starcraft.

He loved reading and playing games. He enjoyed spending time with his dog, Louie.

Surviving are two daughters, Michelle Martini Wolfe and Valarie Turner; three sons, Anthony Sturgil, Willis Elbert Armstrong, and Timmy Armstrong; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Joyce Noble of Kentucky; two brothers, Donnie (Sherrie Wilson) Patrick of Rome City, and Loy Patrick of Albion; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Vivian Gayheart; a brother, Jackie Patrick; and his dog, Louie.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville.

Funeral service will be Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Scotty Ritchie officiating.

Burial will follow at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
