Obituary

Buddy Collins, 76, of Stroh, Indiana, died Monday, October 25, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born on September 23, 1945, in Garrett, Kentucky, to Lester and Ethel (Chaffins) Collins.

He worked as a house painter, in the coal mines, at a local foundry, and retired from Reliable Tool & Machine Company in Kendallville.

He was a member of Salem United Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Isania (Moore) Collins of Stroh; a son, Eric Collins of Hudson; a sister, Juanita Tuttle of Garrett, Kentucky; and two brothers, Birtchel Collins of Garrett, Kentucky and Glenn Collins of Garrett, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Frieda Hammond; and a brother, Thurman Collins.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 28, 2021, after 6 p.m. at the Rock Fork Old Regular Baptist Church in Rock Fork, Kentucky. Visitation will also be all day on Friday at the church.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Rock Fork Old Regular Baptist Church in Rock Fork, Kentucky, with moderators of the church, Pastor Willie Crace and Daryl Slone officiating.

Burial will follow at the Collins Cemetery in Rock Fork, Kentucky.
