Bruce E. Hanna, 87, of Hudson, Salem Township, Indiana, died Saturday, June 29, 2024, at his residence. He was born in the same home on February 16, 1937, to Walter C. and Gardus (Allen) Hanna.

On December 20, 1969, in Helmer he married Iretta A. Bradford. She preceded him in death on March 12, 2020.

He was a graduate of Salem Center High School.

He was an over the road truck driver.

Bruce was a member of Salem Center Presbyterian Church.

He enjoyed living on the farm and riding around the farm on the buggy.

Surviving are three daughters, Sheri (Paul) Mowery of Leo, Helen "Lucy" (Chuck) Meeks of Hudson, and Alice (John) Bremer of Howe; two sons, Gary Hanna of Hudson and Rob (Jennifer) Hanna of Toledo, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Danielle (Andrew) Kipsey, Lindsay (Matt) Hawkins, Jared (Molly) Mowery, Ryan Hanna, Benjamin Hanna, Christopher Hanna, Courtney (Jason) Worden, Kelly (David) Blackburn, Jessica (Steve) Bremer, Traci (Joe) Smith, and John (Kimber) Bremer; and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dale Hanna; and two sisters, Roberta Standiford and Bonnie Warner.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 4 p.m. at Salem Center Presbyterian Church, 3935 S 800 W, Hudson, with Pastor Melody Buehrer officiating.

Burial will be with his wife in Prince of Peace Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday all at the church.

Preferred memorials are to Salem Center Presbyterian Church.
