Brian L. Rottger, 37, of North Manchester died Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at 2:35 a.m. in Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester.

He graduated from East Noble High School in Kendallville in 1993. He has resided in North Manchester since 1997, coming from Kendallville.

Brian was a supervisor at Oji Intertech in North Manchester.

He was born February 19, 1975, in Auburn to Michael E. and Annie (Collins) Rottger. On August 29, 1997, in Albion he married Dawn M. Strowmatt. She survives in North Manchester.

Also surviving are three daughters and a son, Summer Rottger, Annie Rottger, and Britney Rottger, and Dustin Rottger all at home; his mother, Annie Kessler of North Manchester; a sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Shane Knox of Waterloo; and a brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Maggie Rottger of Kendallville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael E. "Gopher" Rottger on September 2, 2011.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 1, 2012, at 1 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Earl Bolen officiating. Burial will be in Sedan Cemetery, Corunna.

Calling is Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
