Brian David Becker, 66, of Auburn, Indiana, took his last hike on the trail to go home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne in the presence of his beloved wife, Mary Ann.

He was born January 7, 1958, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Floyd Warren and Geraldine Louise (Brand) Becker.

He was a 1976 graduate of Northrop High School in Fort Wayne.

On April 22, 2017, (Earth Day) at Robinson Chapel in Fort Wayne, he married Mary Ann K. Cunningham.

Brian worked as a Maintenance Technician for McDonald's Corporation for 43 years.

He loved God's natural world and enjoyed it by hiking trails. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, tinkering around fixing things, and doing woodworking projects.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann K. Becker of Auburn; a daughter, Grace L. Becker of Fort Wayne; a son, Colin D. (Hannah) Becker of Auburn; and three brothers, Barry (Patty) Becker of Fort Wayne, Bruce (Roxanne) Becker of Grabill, and Glenn (Sue) Becker of Fort Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Life services will be Monday, December 23, 2024, at 12 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Rev. Scott Jewell officiating.

Blessing of his resting place will follow at Prince of Peace Cemetery, Hudson.

Visitation will also be on Monday, December 23, 2024, beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life services at the funeral home.

The family requests that those attending Brian's services wear green, the color of God's natural world.
