Obituary

Brett Alan Honaker, 48, of Wolcottville died Thursday, September 15, 2011, at 8:50 a.m. in his residence.

Mr. Honaker was a lifetime area resident. He was a self employed carpenter.

He was born November 5, 1962, in Kendallville to Keith Honaker and Jean (Bishop) Perkins. On March 20, 1983 in Lake Gage he married Teresa Fuller.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa Honaker of Wolcottville; two daughters, Lindy Honaker and her fiancee David Barker of Wolcottville and Casey Slone of Wolcottville; a son, Christopher Honaker of Wolcottville; 6 Grandchildren; three sisters, Kathy Honaker of Wolcottville, Debra (Mike) Brockman of Kendallville, and Nicole Miller of Alabama; and a brother, Tracy Honaker of Wolcottville.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Shane Honaker.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, 2900 E 1150 N, Wolcottville with Pastor Terry Hinds of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church and Pastor Steve Herendeen of Vineyard Christian Fellowship officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 2-6 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville and on hour prior to services on Monday at the church.

Preferred memorials are to the family for funeral expenses.
