Obituary

Beverly Jean Silvers, 68, of Rome City and formerly of Bedford died Monday, December 25, 2017, at 11:40 p.m. at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.

She was born February 13, 1949, in Yakima, Washington, to Roy Welker and Marie Taylor. Her parents preceded her in death.

She married Donnie Silvers, Sr., and he preceded her in death on July 24, 2009.

Mrs. Silvers previously worked at Dura Automotive in Brownstown, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Surviving are a daughter, Tammie Hernandez of Greenwood; three sons, Donnie (Shelley) Silvers of Bedford, Corie (Tressy) Silvers of Bedford, and Bobbie (Jeff) Silvers of Rome City; six grandchildren, Aaron Silvers, Joey Silvers, Carissa Ramirez, Amanda Ramirez, Luis Hernandez, and Natalie Hernandez; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lynn (Farrell) Norman of Rome City and Jeannie (Jim) Quick of Georgia.

There will be no visitation or services.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
