Beverly Jean Howe, 69, of Stroh died Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at 4:05 a.m. in Lakeland Nursing Home, Angola.

She was a lifetime area resident. She retired as a seamstress from Mastercraft in LaGrange.

She was born July 12, 1943, in Waterloo to Justice Eugene and Clara (Sanders) Rowlison. On September 1, 1962, in Hudson she married Duane K. Howe. He survives in Stroh.

Also surviving are two sons, Rodney D. Howe of Stroh and Russell D. Howe of LaGrange; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cari Lyn and Troy Book of Angola and Cheri Lynn and Jeff Bovee of Wolcottville; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Don Burrell of Angola; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jack and Kay Rowlison of Butler and Bill Rowlison of Angola.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jean Kay Howe; and a grandson, Jerrid Keith Book.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 24, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. in St. Mary's of the Angels Catholic Church, 600 Lane 101, Lake of the Woods, Hudson with Father David Carkenord officiating. Burial will be Wright Cemetery.

Calling is Thursday, January 23, 2013, from 2 to 8 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville and one hour prior to services at the church.

Preferred memorials are to the donor's choice.
