Obituary

Beverly Ann Cornett, 65, of Bloomfield, Indiana, died at 8:35 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2009, in Greene County General Hospital in Linton, Indiana.

Mrs. Cornett grew up in Brighton. She and her husband had lived in the Kendallville and Rome City area for several years.

She was born October 7, 1943 in Sturgis, Michigan, to Elwood and Edith (McKenzie) Grove.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Cornett of Rome City; a son, Lonnie & Laura Cornett of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; a daughter, Wendy McKinley of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren, Jacob Cornett, Katherine Cornett, Benjamin Cornett, Cory Cornett, Zakerey Cornett, Keylah McKinley, and Alysha Laughter; two great grandchildren, Aries Cornett and Esreal Cornett; a brother, Terry Grove of Rome City; and two sisters, Phyllis Hufnagle of Syracuse, and Karen Leu of LaGrange.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Phillip Grove.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 7, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North Wolcottville. Burial will be at Mt. Pisagh Cemetery, LaGrange County.

Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials are to the Kidney Foundation or Riley Children's Hospital.
