Obituary

Betty Jean Wright, 72, of Wolcottville died Friday, October 28, 2016, at the home of her daughter, Brenda Maples in Garrett.

She moved to this area at the age of 18.

She was a homemaker.

She was born February 1, 1944, in Bradshaw, West Virginia, to Robert and Opal (Mills) Anglin. They preceded her in death.

On March 25, 1989, in Kendallville she married Virgil Wright. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2014.

Surviving are four daughters, Brenda Reynolds Maples of Garrett, Marjorie Reynolds Ginder of Kendallville, Gloria (Dean) Godsey of Fairborn, Ohio, and Kimberly Lynn Wright of Fairborn, Ohio; five sons, Brian Reynolds of Kendallville, Bobby Reynolds of Kendallville, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Reynolds of Auburn, Anthony (Whitney) Reynolds of Rome City, and Scott Wright of Kettering, Ohio; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Teresa Schimmoller of New Haven; and a brother, Leland Anglin of Fort Wayne.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Roxanna (Reynolds) Smith; a granddaughter, Morgan Ginder; a grandson, Timothy Barry; two sisters, Eloise Christian and Shirley Christian; and three brothers, Doug Anglin, Ronnie Anglin, and Jerry Anglin.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 1 p.m. in Salem United Baptist Church, 8227 N SR 9, Kendallville with the Rev. Billy Tuttle and the Rev. Elmer Slone officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Maples. Active pallbearers will be Anthony Reynolds, Tyler Brinkman, Jackie Terry, Justin Barry, Joey Barry, Michael Ginder, Nick Ginder, and Logan Howdyshell.

Calling is Wednesday, November 2, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
