Betty K. Roberts, 75, of Kendallville, Indiana, died Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was born June 28, 1948, in Jeremiah, Kentucky, to John Quincy and Peggy (Dixon) Adams.

On December 11, 1965, she married Arnold Roberts.

Mrs. Roberts had worked at Tokheim, Essex, Aeroquip, and Dura Automotive.

Betty attended Mt. Olive Old Regular Baptist Church in Valentine.

Her family will remember her as being a great cook and a loving wife and mother.

Surviving are her husband Arnold Roberts of Kendallville; and a daughter and son-in-law, Lorna and Marty Collins of Fort Wayne.

She was preceded in death by a son, Cliff Roberts; three brothers, Bill Adams, Everett Adams, and Larry Adams; and two sisters, Anna Huff and Hazel Owsley.

Visitation is Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with an evening service at 6 p.m. at Mt. Olive Old Regular Baptist Church, 3635 S 200 E, LaGrange. Visitation will also be Friday, July 7, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church.

The funeral service will be Friday, July 7, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the church with Elder Charles Hagerman officiating.

Burial will be at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.

Preferred memorials are to the family for funeral expenses.
