Service: No funeral service at this time ********************************************************************************** Betty Ann Jordan, 69, of Rome City died Thursday, March 13, 2014, at the home of her son near Rome City.

She moved to Rome City in 2003, coming from Wolcottville where she had resided since 1980.

Mrs. Jordan was a Cosmetologist at the Colonial Beauty Shop in Wolcottville.

She was born January 17, 1945, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Robert and Irene (Jones) Boyd.

Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Ann Gibson of Elkhart; three sons, Tommy Allen Gibson of Rome City, Lonnie Jo Gibson of Kendallville, and Shon Lee (Krista) Gibson of Rome City; 16 grandchildren; 12 stepgrandchildren; her mother, Irene Boyd of Elkhart; three sisters, Shirley Cosby of Detroit, Wanda Snipes of Oklahoma, and Mary Boyd of Wolcottville; and two brothers, Bobby Lee (Vivian) Boyd of New Castle and Chuck (Karen) Boyd of Wolcottville.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Calling will be Sunday, March 16, 2014, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville. There will be no funeral service at this time.

Preferred memorials are to Shon Gibson in memory of his mother.
