Obituary

Betty Jean Hockenbarger, 92, of Avilla and formerly of Kendallville died Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 12:58 p.m. in Presence Sacred Heart Home, Avilla.

She was born August 19, 1925, in Kendallville to Perry and Erma (Haines) Niswander.

On October 6, 1951, in Kendallville she married Franklin Hockenbarger. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Hockenbarger retired in 1988 after 43 years with Kraft Foods in Kendallville.

There are no survivors.

Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street is in charge of arrangements.
