Betty Sue "Sue" Davis, 69, of Stroh, Indiana, died Friday, November 28, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born February 20, 1956, in Martin, Kentucky, to John E. and Dina (Isaac) Huff.

On January 29, 1977, in Stroh she married Ricky Alan Davis.

Sue was a devoted homemaker and a faithful member of Helmer Independent Baptist Church. She loved gardening and took special pride in tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed reading and watching old movies on television. Known for her quiet generosity, Sue was often a behind-the-scenes organizer of many efforts that benefited others. Her thoughtful nature, kindness, and willingness to help will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her husband Rick Davis of Stroh; a daughter, Brandy (Donald) Fink of Stroh; two grandsons, Logan Manprasert and Caleb Manprasert; three step grandchildren, Jake Fink, Becca Fink, and Curtis Fink; a brother, Johnny Ray (Laura) Huff, Sr. of Kendallville; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Libby.

Visitation is Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Sue's funeral service will be Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Coney and Pastor Chris Coney officiating.

Burial will follow at Brushy Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Donald Fink, Logan Manprasert, Caleb Manprasert, Jake Fink, Becca Fink, and Curtis Fink.

Memorials may be directed to the Helmer Independent Baptist Church.
