Betty E. Clouse, 88, of Albion died Friday, August 24, 2018 in Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.
She was a lifetime area resident.
Mrs. Clouse had worked as a nursing home aid.
She was born August 27, 1929 in Goshen to Howard and LaVerne (Bailey) Johnson.
She married Dale E. Clouse on October 31, 1963 in Columbia City. He preceded her in death on their 51st wedding anniversary, October 31, 2014.
Surviving are two stepdaughters, Brenda (John) Crider of New Paris and Karolee Hughes of Fortson, Georgia; two stepsons, Bob Clouse of Chandler, South Carolina and Kevin (Terra) Clouse of Albion; 16 grandchildren, Kasey (Jason) Pieper, Shane (Erin) Clouse, Jason (Trina) Clouse, Nathan Kearns, Nicole Clouse, Chris (Julie) Krider, Keith (Jenny) Wells, Tracy Klem, Natasha Bentley, Nicholette Antoniuk, Caleb Hughes, Addie (Donnie) Newcomer, Ellie Grace Hughes, Gabriel Hughes, Hannah Hughes, and Lillie Hughes; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild; and three brothers, Roger Johnson of Wolcottville, Harold Johnson of Avilla, and Kenny Johnson of Albion.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jack Johnson, Delbert Johnson, Wesley Johnson and three sisters, Loretta Clark, Lottie Parry, and Beatrice Eppert.
There will be no visitation or services. Burial will be in Sweet Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are for autism research checks payable to Young Family Funeral Home.
