Obituary

Bernard Maxey Kemplin, 72, of Albion and formerly of Kendallville died Monday, June 22, 2015, at 7:20 p.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

He had lived in Albion six months, coming from New Paris.

He retired from the Kendallville Foundry.

He was born July 30, 1942, in Kentucky, to William and Ella (Lewis) Kemplin.

Surviving are four daughers, Lisa Amburgey of Albion, Donna Short of Kendallville, Shella Polly of Albion, and Robin Mullett of Ashley; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five sisters; and three brothers, Chester Kemplin, Bill Kemplin, and Mark Kemplin all of Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jackie Short; and three brothers.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 29, 2015 in the House of Prayer on Dowling Street in Kendallville with Pastor Glenn Patrick and Pastor Larry Patrick officiating.

Preferred memorials are to Young Family Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
