Obituary

Barbara S. Suffridge, 69, of LaGrange died Monday, October 19, 2009, at 10:20 a.m. in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Ms. Suffridge retired as a graphics artist from Litho Graphics in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She moved to LaGrange in October 2003, to be closer to her family. She attended the Wolcottville Church of God. She was a member of the Graphic Communication International Union, and enjoyed needle point, crocheting, and reading.

She was born May 7, 1940, in Perry County, Kentucky, to Curtis L. & Lillian L. (Kendrick) Suffridge.

Surviving are a daughter, Peggie Chagoya of LaGrange; a son, Kevin Lazzaro of Ohio; a granddaughter, Amanda L. Fischer of LaGrange; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce & Joe Dunn of California; and three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Gene & Leah Suffridge of Rome City, Kenneth Suffridge of California, and Gary & Nichole Suffridge of Dry Ridge, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Danny Suffridge.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 22, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville, with Pastor Gene Suffridge officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.

Calling will be Wednesday, October 21, 2009, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
