Obituary

Barbara A. Harting, 75, of Roanoke died Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at 2:10 p.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

She had lived in Fort Wayne since the age of nine, coming from Tennessee.

She was a homemaker.

She was born October 12, 1939, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to Claude Henry and Clyde Beatrice (Thurman) Mowery.

On October 15, 1955, in Garrett she married Raymond Clare Hollinger. He preceded her in death in 1988. She then married Gerald Harting in 2000. He survives in Roanoke.

Also surviving are four daughters, Debra Hollinger of Kendallville, Dianna Harris of Kendallville, Brenda Cutshall of Roanoke, and Christine Higginbottham of Kendallville; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and six sisters and brothers.

She was also preceded in death by a brother.

There will be no calling or services.

Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
